SharePoint 2016 step by step installation

Assumptions

Active Directory

·         Active Directory is fully configure (AD Server)

·         This application server is in the domain

·         The account which is using for this installation having Local Admin permission

Database Server

·         Database Server should be in domain

·         Ports should be resolve in firewall

·         Reporting services and Analytical services will install later

Download Links

•  Microsoft SharePoint 2016
• Microsoft SQL Server 2016
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016

System Configurations

·         Quad Core

·         6 GB RAM (For Installation purpose only)

·         120 GB of Hard disk (Use SSD for Good results)

In this blog we will install SharePoint 2016 on VMware there are some easy steps are as follow.

Installation

Mount the SharePoint 2016 ISO and run Setup.exe

Then Click on  Install software prerequisites (You must be connected with internet)

Read the term of SharePoint product for license Click Here 

Prerequisites start downloading and setting up the system.May be you will fine some error for resolution of this error check log.

Prerequisites setup request for restarting the system.Just reset it by clicking Finish

 System restarted and complete remaining Prerequisites.

Now Prerequisites phase is end and you are ready to install SharePoint Server blow screen appear after Prerequisites  installations if not then rerun the setup and click  Install SharePoint Server .

In blow screen click  Next 

Select  Create New Server Farm  and click  Next

In this screen you have to specify the Database Connection. Database sever must be in the network and 1433 port should be open on Database server if you find some issue on access on Reaching DB Server run this commend on power-shell on DB server

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name = SQLPort dir = in protocol = tcp action = allow localport = 1433 remoteip = localsubnet profile = DOMAIN

Reference

In my case Database server : DBSERVER\SPINSTANCE 

User ID : SAT\spadmin

Password : **********

Click Next

Now you have to specify the port number or leave it as default in my case i specify 433 click Next

Now you get final conformation massage if you need to change you can go back from this screen.\

Click Next.

After some time you will get the conformation.

Click Finish.

In many case Administrator facing some error regarding Prerequisites, database connectivity and in between setup the best way to resolve those issues follow
